With the arrival of the new technological revolution, the world has entered the information age. It is impossible to obtain a large amount of information that cannot be directly obtained by human senses without suitable sensors. The Internet of Things has made artificial intelligence a reality. The Internet of Things provides ready-made sensors, offering more meaningful ways to perceive the material world, thus bringing artificial intelligence to life. Today, Shuzhiwang will list eight common sensors for you.
Sensors provide artificial intelligence with an "eye" to see the world, give them a "good ear", and endow artificial intelligence with a "keen sense of touch" towards things. In many ways, sensors are endowing artificial intelligence with superhuman abilities.
Today, Shuzhiwang will list some common sensors for you.
1、 Ultrasonic sensor
Ultrasonic sensors are sensors that convert ultrasonic signals into other energy signals (usually electrical signals). Mainly used for robot barriers.
The most common sensor is HC-SR04. The price is 2-5 yuan, very cheap.
The working principle is to first input a trigger signal of at least 10us to the TRIG pin, and the module will emit 8 40kHz periodic levels and detect echoes internally. Once an echo signal is detected, ECHO outputs a high-level echo signal. The pulse width of the echo signal is directly proportional to the measured distance. From this, the distance can be calculated by the time interval between the transmitted signal and the received echo signal. Formula: Distance=High level time * Sound speed (340M/S)/2.
2、 Temperature and humidity sensor
Temperature and humidity sensors are just one type of sensor, which measure the temperature and humidity in the air through a certain detection device. After measuring the temperature and humidity, they convert it into electrical signals or other required forms of information output according to certain rules to meet user needs.
The most common sensor is DHT11.
DHT11 is a temperature and humidity sensor with calibrated digital signal output. Its precision humidity is+-5% RH, temperature is+-2 ℃, range humidity is 20-90% RH, temperature is 0-50 ℃.
3、 Infrared sensor
An infrared sensor is a type of sensor that can detect infrared radiation emitted by humans or animals and output electrical signals.
The most common sensor is HC-SR501.
HC-SR501 is an automatic control module based on infrared technology, designed with LHI778 probe, high sensitivity, strong reliability, and ultra-low voltage working mode. It is widely used in various automatic induction electrical equipment, especially in dry battery powered automatic control products.
4、 Raindrop sensor
Raindrop sensor is a sensing device mainly used to detect whether it is raining and the amount of rainfall, and is widely used in automotive automatic wiping systems, intelligent lighting systems, and intelligent sunroof systems.
The most common sensor is YL-83. The price is 4-5 yuan, very cheap.
Working principle: When the 5V power supply is connected and the power light is on, and there are no water droplets on the induction board, the DO output is high level, the switch indicator light is off, and when a water droplet is dropped, the DO output is low level, the switch indicator light is on, and the water droplet is brushed off, returning to the high level output state.
AO analog output can be connected to the AD port of the microcontroller to detect the amount of rainfall dropped on it.
DO TTL digital output can also be connected to a microcontroller to detect whether there is rain.
5、 Flame sensor
The flame sensor is a sensor specifically used by robots to search for fire sources. Of course, the flame sensor can also be used to detect the brightness of light, but this sensor is particularly sensitive to flames. The flame sensor utilizes the sensitivity of infrared radiation to flames, using a specially designed infrared receiver to detect flames, and then converts the brightness of the flame into a high and low level signal, which is input into the central processor. The central processor makes corresponding program processing based on the signal changes.
The most common is the flame sensor. The price is 2-5 yuan, very cheap.
working principle:
1. Flame sensors are most sensitive to flames and also respond to ordinary light. They are generally used for flame alarms and other purposes.
2. The output interface of the small board can be directly connected to the IO port of the microcontroller
3. The sensor should be kept at a certain distance from the flame to avoid high temperature damage to the sensor.
6、 Sound sensor
The function of a sound sensor is equivalent to a microphone. It is used to receive sound waves and display vibration images of sound, but cannot measure the intensity of noise. The sensor is equipped with a capacitive electret microphone that is sensitive to sound. Sound waves cause the diaphragm inside the microphone to vibrate, resulting in a change in capacitance and producing a corresponding small voltage. This voltage is then converted into a 0-5V voltage, which is received by the data collector through A/D conversion and transmitted to the computer.
The work is mainly used for the voice control module. The voice controlled switch in the hallway usually uses this module to turn on and off the lights.
7、 Gas sensor
A gas sensor is a converter that converts the volume fraction of a certain gas into a corresponding electrical signal. The detection head adjusts the gas sample through a gas sensor, usually including filtering out impurities and interfering gases, drying or cooling the instrument display part. A gas sensor is a device that converts information such as the composition and concentration of a gas into information that can be utilized by personnel, instruments, computers, etc! Gas sensors are generally classified as a type of chemical sensor, although this classification may not be scientific.
The 9 common gas sensors include:
MQ-2- Smoke and Gas Sensor
MQ-3- Alcohol Sensor
MQ-4- Methane Sensor
MQ-5- Liquefied Natural Gas City Gas Sensor
MQ-6- Isobutane Propane Sensor
MQ-7- Carbon Monoxide Sensor Module
MQ-8- Hydrogen Sensor
MQ-9- Carbon Monoxide Combustible Gas Sensor
MQ-135- Air Quality Detection Sensor
8、 Brightness sensor
A brightness sensor refers to a sensor that can sense the brightness of light and convert it into a usable output signal.
Detect the brightness and intensity of the surrounding environment.
